Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process your company, name, email address and message, and any other personal data you choose to include, to read and answer your request. The site does not store these data: the form sends them to us by email.
The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These fields are required to send the form: without them we cannot reply. You can also write directly to info@erratic.it.
Spam protection
The Contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. Cloudflare processes technical signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint and browser information. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is our processor for this bot detection, and an independent controller when it uses these signals to improve its service. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.
Technical data
When you visit the site, the server may record the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type in security logs. We use these data to run the site and protect it from abuse, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and not to profile you.
Recipients
Your data may be handled by providers acting on our behalf: Netsons (website hosting and email forwarding), Google (Gmail, where messages from the form are delivered) and Cloudflare (spam protection). We do not sell your data or use it for marketing, and we do not share it with others unless the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Messages stay in our mailbox, without automatic deletion, for as long as we need them to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, or to meet legal obligations or protect our rights. We then delete them. You can ask us to delete your message earlier, as described below. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing or to receive it in a portable format, where these rights apply. You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest. To do so, write to info@erratic.it.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
